Civil Design, Stormwater DesignProject Summary
Sproutt was engaged to deliver civil engineering services for a six-allotment industrial subdivision within the City of Onkaparinga. The project involved the design of internal roads, allotment servicing, and stormwater infrastructure, all completed in accordance with the City of Onkaparinga Stormwater Management for Development – Technical Guidelines. The design ensured that the development met Council standards for functionality, safety, and long-term serviceability.
Our Approach
Sproutt’s approach focused on delivering a practical and compliant design tailored to the needs of an industrial subdivision. The team developed a coordinated civil layout that included road geometry, allotment access, and stormwater conveyance systems designed to support industrial operations and future flexibility. All designs were prepared to meet the technical standards set out by the City of Onkaparinga, including stormwater detention, pipe sizing, and surface grading to manage runoff effectively within the site.
Outcomes
The completed design package provided the developer with a clear and compliant framework for construction. The civil and stormwater designs ensured that each allotment was fully serviced and accessible, with infrastructure capable of supporting industrial use. Sproutt’s integrated approach delivered a functional, Council-compliant outcome that supports both immediate development and long-term operational needs.
