Project Summary

Sproutt undertook a comprehensive condition audit of the Council's Open Space Infrastructure. Detailed attribution was required to standardise the data structure and collection methodology for the variety of assets in the portfolio to provide better planning and maintenance for the Council.

Our Approach

Using the Council's detailed data structure for their Open Space Infrastructure, Sproutt built a bespoke, spatially enabled data collection platform to efficiently locate and assess each asset in their network. This enabled the Council to better understand their assets with better financial reporting, short- and long-term planning.

Outcomes

This project delivered a detailed Open Space asset dataset with validated attributes and spatial locations, current condition and backlog maintenance items. A robust data structure provides greater data confidence and allows greater analysis to be undertaken for the Council to maintain their public infrastructure.
