Sproutt conducted a detailed condition assessment of all transport assets including roads, kerbs, footpaths, traffic control devices and kerb ramps. Data was collated and a mobile data collection app was created for all asset classes. A detailed capital works and maintenance plan was key to delivery for this project.
Our Approach
A bespoke data collection app that had the capability to hold all data from each asset class was required. The infrastructure inspection team could then access all relevant information clearly and efficiently. Detailed capital renewal and maintenance plans involved estimated remaining useful life analysis and replacement costing for maintenance. Financial and insurance valuation was undertaken by Sproutt Subcontractor Andrea Carolan (Public Private Property).
Outcomes
The ability to store and collect information for a wide variety of asset types and attributes allowed for efficient onsite workflows and collation of deliveries. This high-quality dataset delivery provided a succinct and informative basis for asset management plans and maintenance programs.
