Mauricio Herrera Villa

Mauricio Herrera Villa has extensive experience in designing and delivering integrated landscape projects. Originally from Medellín, Colombia, Mauricio spent five years as an architect before moving to Australia in 2015. His horticultural research during that time culminated in Medellín’s first ornamental plant guide. With a Master of Landscape Architecture and published academic research in the field, Mauricio is deeply committed to advancing landscape architecture and sustainability practices. Recognised as one of AILA South Australia’s Future Leaders, he brings expertise in regenerative green infrastructure and holistic urban design.
