City of Marion

The City of Marion required our Financial Infrastructure Advisor to collate financial data of each infrastructure asset calls from key planners and producing a summary table for the Council’s Finance department for Long Term Financial Plan purposes. 

Sproutt approached this brief through 1:1 meetings with key planners on site. We then collated the gathered data and summary report remotely.  We believe in face-to- face consulting to build a stronger client – consultant relationship. 

Sproutt provided an extra resource for Council to fulfil a job that could not be avoided.  Our meetings with key planners also identified gaps in Council’s processes, creating opportunities for near future improvements.

We delivered:

• Summary tables of infrastructure asset budgets for Council’s Finance department for LTFP purposes.  Accompanying these budget summary tables were relevant documentation (i.e. the science) supporting their budget request(s).

• A summary report on all the findings that resulted from the 1:1 meeting with key planners related to the infrastructure’s asset lifecycle.

• Recommendations for future improvements
