roads, kerbs, gutters, footpaths and carparks condition audit and valuation

Alexandrina Council

Sproutt was engaged by Alexandrina Council to undertake condition assessments for 117km of footpaths in addition to 150,000m2 of car parking spaces, 1356km of sealed and unsealed roads, and 304km of kerbs.

A team of two qualified and experienced engineers undertook a driven visual assessment for the majority of the assets. This methodology was the optimal way to perform the assessment based on the client’s requirements. Inaccessible reserve and coastal footpaths/ramps were audited by foot to provide a detailed visual assessment.

Sproutt provided an online tracking dashboard to the client which allowed for progress tracking of the onsite auditing as well as any data queries such as condition and asset count.

Our assessors were based in Alexandria council areas Goolwa and Strathalbyn for the duration of the audit. Sproutt was sourcing accommodation locally to the economic benefit of the area.

Our audit was delivered on time and on budget with zero WHS near misses or incidents. Good quality and uniform data was provided to the client in the required formats.
