City of Unley

As a part of its annual budget, the City of Unley regularly undertakes designs to improve the safety, pedestrian accessibility, stormwater drainage and road surfaces of various roads located within the Council Boundaries.

Sproutt has assisted the City of Unley with a number of these projects, including kerb and gutter renewals, pedestrian safety improvements and traffic circle design.

These works required extensive consultation with Council and interested & affected parties to ensure a successful outcome, and outputs included

• Road width and kerb alignment

• Design of treenet inlets in kerb to facilitate new tree plantings

• Traffic control and linemarking plans

• Traffic Impact Statements (TIS)

Our in-house traffic engineer has proved invaluable on these projects, providing accurate advice and technical expertise when combining improved pedestrian safety, while maintaining traffic flow.
